draconian - 1-3-2004 at 07:50 PM

Where'd you see them, robotboy?

TurtleEnterprises - 1-3-2004 at 09:10 PM

Yea their so good live. When I seen them open for Hot Hot Heat, they totally over shadowed them. :D

:D They rock!!! I can't put down the cd, and I'm still waiting on the 4 track CD from England that I won on Ebay. Hopefully it will be in the mail soon. I keep checking the auctions on there and there's not much on there for Ima Robot. I never see any shirts. I'm just glad that Drac was sweet enough to send me one! Thank you!!!!!!

i saw them at their sept13 show at berkeley and it was INSANELY good!! The stage energy blew me away!!:o

draconian - 1-6-2004 at 04:14 PM

I was at that one, too. One of the best of last year. And I may have seen them 7 or 8 times? IMO, their breakout performance. They proved they could do it at a huge venue, all the while under the microscope.

better than nirvana. are you crazy?

DylerPlummer - 1-7-2004 at 09:45 AM

I saw Nirvana at the Hibernian in Fulham and they were just another rock band.. I left after 5 songs or was it one..

MichelleRene - 1-8-2004 at 08:56 AM

Oh, yeah I remember Nirvana. I liked "Bleach" and their next CD. But that was back in like 1990something. I've kind of forgotten about that whole scene. It wasn't a favorite time of mine----

AAAAAAAAH!

imarobotboy - 1-8-2004 at 01:24 PM

:mad:AAAAAAAAAAAAaa:mad:
WHAT?? NIRVANA happens to be one of the best and most original punk bands ever!! I'd say they are about equal with imarobt, who are completely new, innovative and amazing!!! and its true, inever see any shirts either! do you have any idea where i can get one?

DylerPlummer - 1-8-2004 at 01:42 PM

Ha ha...... Original Punk band... Sorry Imarobotboy i think not.

draconian - 1-8-2004 at 03:59 PM

Re: t-shirts -- we have been told that .com will have a shop up soon. Until then, your best bet is to make a deal with someone going to a show who can pick you one up for ten bucks, then offer to pay $3 for shipping. They have them in black and hot pink.

But if you're in Berkeley, you could always go to the Popscene gig in San Fran and grab one yourself!

draconian - 1-8-2004 at 03:59 PM

p.s. that show is tonight.

MichelleRene - 1-9-2004 at 10:26 AM

I'm sorry Imarobotboy.....I guess I'm more into the early punk scene: Ramones, Pistols, The Clash, Dead Kenedys, etc.

I don't know, the early 90's was such a shittty time for music- the grunge thing got old. Hey, has anyone noticed that the band Puddle of Mudd sounds an awful lot like Nirvana (Kurt Cobain)?

lomax - 1-9-2004 at 01:19 PM

yes, puddle of mudd do sound like nirvana (that shitty song thats on the radio sounds just like it). i must admit, i like nirvana, and they are bloody brilliant. the one band i would reform (ahead of led zep and at the drive in!) and they are punk. cobain is a cock though, not a god, as many people think he is
