Popscene SF show

Had a great time at the show last night. The set is sounding good. Everyone is looking forward to Henry Fonda. No real surprises but an excellent time nonetheless.

Hey Col...

Were you able to snap some photos or anything? Setlist?

How was the turn out?

colforbin6 - 1-9-2004 at 12:07 PM

ok, setlist was standard with a few mods. Scream showed up late in the set. No turkey. So it was something just like this.

#1
Dirty Life
Action
Alive
STD Dance
Dynomite
Jettas
Scream
Doctors
12=3

The venue was basically just a big bar. The stage was in the corner so beyond the first few rows of people it was tough to see. Sorry no pics. Bar was packed though and we all turned out the 80's dance party after. Everyone seemed pretty into things. Much bigger show than the Bimbo's show recently.

Lots of buzz about Henry Fonda and some breakouts.

Give us the 411.......... !!!

WOW your fast, while I was typing you were posting... Look there a minute apart... lol :duh:

draconian - 1-9-2004 at 02:18 PM

Phobiac, are you getting all these for the database?

Very excited for Henry Fonda/Gary Honda breakout songs...I'll go 3 to 1 Beat Goes On. Sign Your Life is almost too much to ask for. Thanks for tantalizing us in your own Jiminy Glick way, Col.

Make a sign requesting "I'm Your Bitch"!!

That'll blow the audience away, I know it. :)

draconian - 1-9-2004 at 02:52 PM

Haaaaa--I forgot about that one! I can only imagine the on-stage hijinks during the "down. on. your knees" section.

Hey, i was just curious, when they played at popscene, how did you guys get tickets?? was it through ticketmaster?

avw86 - 3-19-2004 at 05:45 PM

Damn those 18 and older shows! Just a couple more months and I'll be a part of that crowd. I've missed a lot of Ima Robot shows in SF (until recently) because they always played at venues that I couldn't go to. :(

Haha, but I'm sure that when I turn 18 I'll love the 18+ shows

myke - 3-19-2004 at 07:28 PM

where did you guys buy tickets?

avw86 - 3-19-2004 at 07:54 PM

i think you can get tickets for popscene on their website http://www.popscene-sf.com but i'm not sure (i'm not sure if that's the right website either).
