I was just thinking, I've been on .net for a fairly "long time" and I don't think I've ever heard anyone really mention
anything about Depech Mode.
Does anyone else here share their love for this band?
My 3 favorite bands are Ima Robot, Electric Light Orchestra and DM.
IMAR fans are here, duh
hmmm....Dyler is a fan of ELO...and there's gotta be some depeche mode fans on here....

Of course I love them! I like the Speak & Spell CD, I'd say that's my favourite album.

Sweetness, DM fans/admirers :D
Speak & Spell is awesome, I love "Photographic". Lately I've been listening to "A Broken Frame" an awful lot.
I really hope I get to see them when & if they tour. Last time I couldn't go because I had no dough.....(funny, not too much has changed
since then)

When I was little, and for quite some time, I thought I was going to marry Dave Gahan.:duh:
......*sigh* to bad it didn't come true

I love Depeche Mode! They bring back great memories......and usually awesome
music to set the mood for sex!
I really love "Down".....yeah....down......

Depeche Mode is a really great band, but to be honest I only know the greatest hits and a few other random songs and I don't have a very vast
knowledge of them. However I did have a dream about them a while back. I saw them at a courtyard in Britain and then we took a bus together to the
US... yes we did ride the bus over water, what do you expect from a dream?

words are violence, break the silence...dadadadada dadadadada. i like that one.
btw is "i just canīt get enough" a real DM song or a cover for i heard a version once from another band that sounded way older.

lomax - 9-9-2004 at 02:00 AM
I dont really know anything about them.
Apart from the fact they make dancey 80's pop. Am I right? What songs should i sample?
7cut - 9-9-2004 at 03:48 AM
gee...i mean, iīm not a fan of theirs but you definately should know more of `em. and they did quite more than dancey songs...but you must know
"personal jesus" ? you canīt tell me you never heard of that one ? the "ultra" album was a nice comeback ....of of those guys is
djing these days..

Evangeline - 9-9-2004 at 10:57 AM

Man, I've got some great memories of the "People are People" album. That's when my parents used to let me drive @ 14 just like
Warhol Disciple. I've got a picture of the car somewhere around.
