Hi!

I know that it's been super quiet, so I thought I'd let you know what we're up to:

Writing, demoing, writing, demoing.

That's about it. Lots of experimenting, taking our time, trying out different aesthetic directions, eating burritos, etc. Tim's got this dope house where our Pro Tools studio is set up, and we're trying to simultaneously get our "relax" on as well as be dilligent. It's going well. We're also still meeting with various managers, and will decide on that very soon. Our record company is coming in from New York next week, so we're gonna chill with them too, they're cool. I'm also spending a lot of time making a living at my "day job" doing other people's records. Just finished the Garbage record, working with an Irish artist on Virgin UK called Gemma Hayes, and also did a ton of playing on the Team America movie score over the past week.

Also, in case you weren't aware or I hadn't previously mentioned it, my wife and I are expecting a baby. Corinne is just over six months pregnant, and we're very very excited!

I'm so excited about the new album. And yes, congatulations on the baby. I noticed your wife was pregnant at the Sunset Junction show. That's awesome.

Woo hoo. I too saw that your wife was pregnant, but I was afraid to say anything in case I was wrong or something. It would be a pretty embarrassing mistake. But congrats!!! I bet that kid is gonna be into music... or not have a choice. Hehe.

If it's a girl, might I suggest you have her middle name be Corinne after your wife, then have her first name be Kendall. Then her name would be the same as mine. Wait, no. That would be too weird. Scratch that. I want to be the only one I know of with my name. I want to drop my last name though, so I will just be Kendall Corinne. I like alliterations. Not as cool as my brother's friend's name which is Jon Jameson Jr. Coolest name ever. I'm sorry. I'm bored and rambling. But once again, congrats.

I can't wait to hear some new stuff...and I wore my Bot shirt to the thrift store today to find ugly leisure suits to put on Ebay for Halloween.....:duh:

Ha! Yes, things are going so swimmingly, anticipation for the album reaches a fever pitch, and then they come out with a record full of Bananarama covers.

Actually, that would be pretty cool.

It IS like my dream!!!! I had a dream that they came out with a new song and Alex was talking to me online somehow, and he was asking me if it sounded too much like Bananarama. I told him it didn't, even though it totally did. Then some other crazy crap happened that only makes sense in dreams. But ya, I'm excited for the new album, with or without Bananarama covers.

Baby-Bot names? Let's see... Fro-bot (if his hair is like dads) Femme-bot (if its a spygirl or feminist) Robert Robot? Oh no , nickname Bobby-Bot! Don't think so.. just joking anyway.

But a little girl named Justine after Daddy would be sweet. Or a baby boy named Cory after Corinne. (I hope I spelled her name right). And if there are any family traditions re: naming kids - sometimes it's nice to follow them. Best wishes with your Baby-Bot!
