Best Soundtracks Ever

7cut - 11-17-2004 at 04:32 AM

Big Award for Quentin Tarantino here ...all his soundtracks are amazing. but i also love the soundtrack for "fear and loathing in las vegas", "clockwork orange", "la boum" and "cinderella `87" as well as lots of Oliver Onions work.

I have never seen Dony Darko . . . . whats it about?

JunoRedneck - 11-18-2004 at 07:41 PM

It's about this guy who dresses up as mermaid all the time and is secretly in love with this other guy who is obsessed with puppets. Then they go on this roadtrip across the country but they are constantly being chased by this car possessed by the ghost of a serial killer named Joe-Joe. Also there are random celebrity cameos by people like Snoop Dog and Hulk Hogan. It's a romantic comedy

poobs - 11-18-2004 at 07:59 PM

but Danny Elfman makes killer soundtracks.

JunoRedneck - 11-18-2004 at 09:21 PM

I love Danny Elfman. I can always tell when he wrote the musical score in a movie.

poobs - 11-18-2004 at 10:23 PM

I can't forget anything that Jon Brion touches either..He's a fucking genius..Magnolia, Punch Drunk Love, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I Heart Huckabees..Ahhh..I love him with every fiber of my being..:yes:

well, yeah ..apart from "From Dusk Till Dawn" whick sucks in my opinion. (apart from the scene in the beginning with the gunshot in Tarantino´s hand..hehe). i heard the Mothersbaugh bros. from Devo are working on movie scores ...true ?

i really didnt get the ending by the way.. hardly ever happens to me. i mean, if he had to get up to know he had to stay in bed, then why the hell did he had to get up the first time?!
