Klaus Nomi

Anybody knowing Klaus Nomi here? Maybe Dyler and Neuwave do.....i hadnīt properly neither, just seen pictures before yesterday. Went to the movies seeing this documentary on Klaus Nomi and the early days of new wave entitled "The Nomi Song" and i could cry over not having been born a LITTLE earlier. *sigh* those avantgarde new wave parties/performances with weirdos they had had in the late 70s, and Fiorucci....If any of you have ever seen the David Bowie Saturday Night Live performance of the man who wasnīt there (with Bowie wearing this weird outfit where he had to be carried in)..Nomi was the background singer / performer dressed in black...never heard of any man capable of such falsetto before...

I seem a documentary on them not to long ago. Very Ziggy Stardust like. I loved Ziggy. But I love me some David Bowie too. Hmmmm, I think he's hot for an old guy. Plus look who he is married to. I wish to look like her when I'm old.:duh:

aww , look at the baby!:D

iīve seen it already.....pretty good movie.
got a tape from a friend and copied "simple man", "lightning strikes" and "Lightning strikes again". very addictive. oh, and he died of Aids...the movie even said that he was the first known aids case in among prominent people...and it seemed so sad for none of his friends visited him in the hospital for they were scared they could be infected being near him. little was known about aids then.
