Sharing Is Good: Robot Share

People have been asking for a space so that they can upload and share pictures, live shows, and rare recordings. I've setup the following so that you can do just that. Do not upload any commerical or copyrighted material.

If you are interested in sharing your ima robot pictures, video and music (not copyrighted) you'll have to post in this thread to get the username and password. After you post the hidden text will be revealed which shows the username and password to use with the following URL:

If you are behind a firewall (like checking this from work) you might have problems with accessing this since it's on port 8000; but give it a try. I'm sure there will be questions on how to use the interface so we'll start another thread called Robot Share FAQs to address those.

Yeah, its tricky. The interface is ridiculously dumb. Can't complain though.

Phobiac didn't make it, props to him for doing this in the first place.

Yeah, I was surprised that you were able to put the file up there without any instructions! You must be very clever! :cool: You even made the file public! Good job!

I'm actually able to hit it from work; we have a pretty open network here...yeah! :lol: Hopefully, they work on a better interface so that it's a little more intuitive.

Anyway, I hope that there's some good stuff that gets uploaded for us all to share and enjoy.

which three would those be? i put up some really old demos, but I thought you already had those....hmm...

I have a couple dvd's of some shows that guys did way back in 20001? at Moomba, House of Blues and the Dragonfly...some interesting stuff on those...

OK...a bad copy of Spearmint and Leo's Waltz has been added as well as The Faker which is just another name for Alternate Pill. I'm not sure where Alternate Pill came from as the song was always called The Faker....anyways....enjoy...

This is way back from a show that was done on new years eve...2001? The show was at Moomba on Robertson in West Hollywood. I believe that Moomba is now Pearl.

You just have to look a couple posts up :duh:

Those are courtesy of imanodoubtaholic. The quest is to find the names of those songs as I don't think anyone knows...not even Alex Ebert can remember from what I hear.

Make sure that you allow pop-ups. It's a very messed up interface, but if you can access the site and list out the songs then you can, yes you can, download! ;)

So, i wasn't very pleased with the enhanced Fibonacci and remade a new version of it that I think sounds even better. I have it on the download site, its called Fibonacci-New. I bumped up the volume on the left channel and equalized it. Hopefully it wont bottom out your speakers like it did to mine and the vocals are more clear.

PS if anyone wants to mess with it more go find Audacity, its free and kicks ass.

It's my original recording....... I can tell from the volume bumps during the first I Must Be God verse. The last audio bump also happens when Alex is talking.

Fibonacci-New in the download site sounds a bit better.

Thanks for the demos! It nice to see how much they have progressed as musicians. IMO the demos sounds like crap compared to the finished version and I really can't stand listening to them. Cool nonetheless, props phobiac!
