Is it just me or is this very similar to Death Cab for Cutie or Postal Service?

imarob2 - 4-12-2010 at 06:56 AM

nope, that's what most of the world says as well.

yeah they sound very much alike.

K, because I remember sitting in the theater waiting for The Road to start and one of their songs was playing and I got excited because I thought it was a new postal service song.

Alot of people say he sounds like the postal service. He was asked about it in an interview and he said something like the postal service had an album in 2003 and that was the first chapter but there has been nothing since then and maybe this is the next chapter.

I think he sounds like the postal service to a degree, but if you look deeper and compare the two albums, you'll find alot of differences. All of Owl City's songs sound happy and he doesn't really use sad sounding melodies that you can find in the Postal Service's Give Up album.
