brian eno is amazing.

especially Seefeel

Sarbear - 3-17-2011 at 05:19 AM

Dead Mans Bones
And Mountain Goats

if i had to pick anybody other then Alex Ebert Related.

But mostly the Ebert.

Sarbear - 3-17-2011 at 05:32 AM

But, I have been listening to a lot of Audio books lately.
Stieg Larson- The Millennium Trilogy
and now
Lewis Carrol- Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass

imarob2 - 3-17-2011 at 07:59 AM

dang, this is a big long list of things I need to look into.

Generationals' Trust EP is the catchiest thing I've heard in a looong time.

Rogue Wave's Permalight is a pretty good time, too.

Sara, do you have the new rural alberta advantage? I need to get that thing in my life soon.

Sarbear - 3-17-2011 at 10:05 AM

I believe JPG has it, I do not have it in ipod. I am in love with them. That's another one that I listen to, especially sense the weather is nice now. 64 degrees!

imarob2 - 3-21-2011 at 04:51 PM

speaking of salem, the hot gossip around town is how ryan gosling was at their show at the magic stick in detroit. one famous person that i would actually be super excited to meet!

Sarbear - 3-21-2011 at 06:57 PM

Ryan Gosling makes me melt. I would have flipped a garbage can lid if I saw him at that show.

imarob2 - 3-22-2011 at 09:55 AM

I figured that you would appreciate that little tidbit:)

Sarbear - 3-22-2011 at 10:51 AM

That makes me want to listen to Salem.

Delta - 6-1-2011 at 02:36 PM

^Now that is good stuff. Glad to hear some props to Moby on the .Net^
(Did I really just say props?)

I'm crazily addicted to Mindless Self Indulgence as one of the few things besides Alex and the gang.

If you're gonna try them, I'd be careful. Start with some easy stuff (If, You'll Rebel to Anything) and see how you feel. Then if you like more fucked up stuff (I'm Your Problem Now is a good example if how Jimmy can write some pretty fucked up stuff), You could go to Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy. Then their first album (hard to find in physical form, use YouTube) Tight is pretty sweet. Just the right amount of fuckage. Or, to get a physical form, you could buy Tighter with all it's bonus tracks.

Yes, I CAN write an instruction manual on how to become wicked gay for MSI

Oh yes... I especially love the live version on Alienating Our Audience, with the crowd chanting "Anal sex" before Steve, Righ?'s epic intro.

Panty shot,
In my brain

Five Year Old!
Panty Shot!

I use to be and MSI head.

I really do hate MSI now, I got sick of 5 singles, 2 dvd's, 2 international versions, 1 LP, 2 different deluxe versions for each album. And the reissue of Tight I thought was a bad idea.

Dynomite2140 - 7-27-2011 at 11:28 AM

I know what you mean... I'm not one of those people that says "If" was horrible. In fact, I got the joke behind it and "You'll Rebel." I really didn't like the the 20 gagillion re-releases of "If" though. And when "<3" came out, I was just a little disappointed cuz all the tracks were on the 20 gagillion versions of If.

I truly only bought Tighter for it's bonus tracks and to add to my collection, not cuz I wanted it. I already had Tight so it wasn't that big of a deal for me when Tighter came out.

JPG - 7-27-2011 at 11:46 AM

So much of an MSI head this happened...

Man why is this still clogging up my hard drive?

....

While taking the time to type this and upload a screen cap, I fired up a live version of Diabolical followed by the Demo of Uncle... I would go see MSI live again in a second if it was local.

EDIT:
Hey why not, here is a few more MSI gay facts from me. My first four concerts ever were MSI. The first was MSI durring Projekt Revolution 2007 I was 17. I kissed Jimmy durring this first one. I dressed like a girl (skirt, fishnets, unicorn tanktop) durring 2 of those four MSI concerts. One time my friend lost her camera and some nice chick walked up to me and said, "I found this camera and there is pictures of you on it, so i guess you might know who's it is." That was AMAZING!

Dynomite2140 - 7-29-2011 at 04:17 AM

epic

You, Delta, are epic as well. Here's 10,000 points.

Sadly, just like in "Whose Line is it Anyway?", the points are meaningless.

So have another 99,999,999,999,998 points, dear friend, just for knowing who JoCo is :)

Delta - 8-2-2011 at 05:15 PM

woops i thought i quoted the my morning jacket post, I do know who JoCo is, so ill still keep the points thankyou
