Well holy damn

Been a year and a half since I last posted, just about. Anyways, just been listening to the new Robot album. Me being more from the Edward side of things, I don't know just how the diehards felt about the new album.. But shit, I love it.

Just wanted to post my love for it, since its 3am and I don't have anyone but Facebook to go to and say how much I love it, and Facebook doesn't care, really

I dont think I can call myself an Ima Robot diehard since I came into Ima Robot in '06. Listened to the ST album without realizing there was a second that had just came out and then listened to MTTM without realizing Edward Sharpe songs had been trickling out. It was the beginning of using torrents for music, I had to have everything related to Ima Robot. Then I came here.

I feel like (even with as little time I have listened to Alex's music) that I have grown with him. It feels like it means more to me than some pleasurable music. I guess that feeling is love. I am a huge fan of growing as an artist and not just recycling previous sounds and habits. Also, if you know Alex's story you cant deny that what he has come from and where he is heading is great.

So to answer your question finally I love it, It feels like a mix of everything. Lots of different genres of music from the past 5 years.

:thumbup: It's definately the feeling of love, It's weird how his music makes me want to grow as a person and just love everyone for every reason. lol

I'd say that I immediately loved it. I'd say it is cute and energetic.. Nlmaybe not like their old Punky-Energeticism.. But its lovely. Makes me feel like I'm on a tropical island, I forget about work while zoning out to it. Just lovely.

Now what I think is amazing to note is that he can bring us love with his and the guys' music. No matter their sound, whether it was the disco-punk of Ima Robot or the folk-driven Another Man's Treasure, it's all just love being spread and that's why we will be followers, fans and friends of them till they die.

Damn, I'm deep. No more cold pizza and Pink Monkey Infinite Repeat Sessions at midnight...
