That's about all I can handle at this late hour. What an awesome show. The crowd was a little thinner than normal given the short advance notice for
this show. But what a treat it was when we were all thinking that The Derby show would have to do for the year.
Thank you Viper Room security for showing me the outside of the place during Dynomite. More importantly thank you for letting me back in. Glad they
let you back in Poobs.
The change the band has made to the arrangements in some of the songs has really added a new level of energy and excitement. How they managed this I
haven't a clue as they were aces in my book before.
The show ended with a song called Leo's Waltz. A little story that starts ohh so innocently and intimately then explodes into pandemonium and ends
under the same tone in which it started; very cool. The middle of this little number has some of the most energy packed punches of any of the songs I
have heard. Appearing on the upcoming album? We may have to look a little harder to find this track when the debut album arrives.
Good luck with laying down the bass and drum tracks in the studio this week. Keep us posted on the happenings. I think we all still wish that it
would be a double album debut!

Leo's Waltz
Interesting that they dropped in a new song, even more interesting that it was of the quality that it could be placed at the end of the set! From
your description, Phobiac, it sounds great...certainly has all the Ima Robot hallmarks.
Also, I noticed Song #1 was not the opener this time. Isn't there some old jazz standard that a lot of acts play before taking their first break?
Something like "The Intermission Song?" I was starting to think that Ima Robot was going to play Song #1 first from here on out, for novelty's sake.
The set list looks like it brought the energy up right away, though, and mellowed out in the middle before Ages of Ruin, Twist and Shout, and the new
kid.
Sorry to hear about the security issues! At least you can cross "get kicked out of the Viper Room" off your life to-do list.

I know I should just let that lame-ass security guard roll of my back, but he was such a total ass..I hate people who always think they're right..And
he knows that you can't really argue cuz he has the power to ruin your night..Grrrr!!!
Ok..I'm over it..Thanks again for everything Phobiac..Drac, you were greatly missed.. It was a great show though..I'm so stoked I got to see them before they started recording..They just seem to always put on such a rockin' show..I
love it!!And now back to my nap here at work.. :D

Bigtime credit to Phobiac for keeping his eye on the viewfinder for the whole show -- how'd the footage turn out?
The completely fan produced video for "Alive" will drip like rich creamery butter all over the airwaves.

Phobiac mentioned something during our brief chat today about how Alex introduced the songs as "stories," does anyone remember what he said?
Apparently, the video footage is hit-and-miss, especially the Cops-style bit where the heavy showed Poobs and Phobiac the door! We need to make that
one into an avatar...

That sounds like a cool project RiffRaff. Hopefully, we can turn out something better than the local Armenian TV station, with your help that is. If
it was just me...well it would be interesting. Let me know when you have time. I think we have plenty of takes to piece it together.
draconian. I think he said "ok..ok…here's another story..." perched himself delicately beneath a spot light and sang the song. Ages of Ruin and
Leo's Waltz were both introduced this way.

His "storytime" moments really visually echoed that pic of him naked in the spotlight -- was that the entrance photo of this site or the official site
at one time? In any event, the lighting was really pretty effective for such a small venue. And I was really amazed how well all the guys
capitalized on such a miniscule stage area.
Phobiac - maybe Mike will let us shoot some of the studio work. A 2-camera setup could get us some really cool footage to work with. In any event,
we should have no problem assembling something that the guys can, at the very least, show their families with pride.
