The Faint Lovefest

Why did it take me so long to see this band play? Saw them tonight with The Fever. Love their new album, but my favorite is still Blank-Wave Arcade. And the song Take Me To The Hospital. Had the chance to express my love for the latter to illin' keyboardist Jacob. They played it as an encore.

If they're coming to your town on this tour, go!

It is The Faint, I just hoped this could be a Faint lovefest for the Faint-hearted.

I'm going to see them again, in North Carolina of all places, in a couple of weeks! Yesssssss...

Oh I LOOOOVVVE the Faint. I listen to their album over and over again. I have the new one too and boy do I love it. I work at J.C. penney (Department store) and when they anounce tthe store is closed I pop on those headphones and start working. I love them I love them I love them. I wanted to go to their show at the glasshouse in pomona but it is already sold out but I am gonna go anyway. I bought a 35$ ticket for the show at the Mayan. I was going to go alone but my father said it is a really bad neighborhooood. Is it? Has anyone been to the Mayan in L.A. No one I know has heard of them or loves them as much as I. I am even more excited now.

they have a new album out right? yeah those dudes are pretty cool. I remember this college chick I used to live next door to once told me, "if you don't know who The Faint is, I don't want to talk to you." That was the coolest recommendation I've ever heard. Needless to say I immediately found out who they were.:D:D

I LOVE THEM TOO.

To new Faint folk, the latest album is good but I seriously recommend Blank Wave Arcade first. Call Call is such an awesome throwback to the 80s if ever there was one.

The Mayan isn't in too bad of a neighborhood. You are taking a car and not--gasp!--the bus, right?

Seacap, that sounded vaguely like a slam but I will choose to ignore!

j.c. penney ....oh, my first encounter with j.c. penney was "debra". it´s probably something like Penny Markt, eh noisy..hehe. Penny Markt mixed up with Karstadt.

No not really, I don't want The Faint to die so I am posting this to bring it back to the top. I was going to take the bus but with your gasping fears streamed through my head and visions of possible bad experiences. I guess I won't. How shall I get there??? My car is broken and I have not 500 dollars to fix it! I will surely cry if I have to pass this up. J.C. Penney (james cash penney) is a department store like.... Nordstrom, Robinsons-may.... any of them ring a bell. I am going alone and I was going to take a bus. Now I might just go alone but not take a bus.

The deal with the bus is that you just don't want to wind up waiting for a transfer somewhere shady. If it's a straight shot, won't be a problem. Otherwise, you might have to fish around for one with a decent transfer spot.

I would risk limb, if not life, to see The Faint, so hope you go!
