"Moving Units:
Moving Units’ sound is a combination of danceable rock over angular bass-lines with vocals caught between ecstasy and distress (think three parts The Rapture and one part The Strokes). They’ve already made it into the pages of the NME, the taste-making British weekly, so it may not be long before they catch up to fellow punk-funkers Hot Hot Heat.

Ima Robot:
Ima Robot certainly has a nice pedigree, boasting two members of Beck’s backing band, Justin Meldal-Johnsen and Joey Waronker. Their album has not yet been released, but from what we’ve heard, people on the street are taken with the herky jerky rhythms reminiscent of Devo. With grand melodic vocals balancing out their punky edge, they could stand a good shot of appealing to the masses. "
