I Can't Believe It's An Album Review - Spectre

So the cats at http://www.spectremusic.com/reviews.php posted a review of the new Ima Robot album, but it doesn't read like they've actually heard the thing. Judge for yourself:

"Ima Robot 'Ima Robot' (Virgin)
Ima Robot has teased you for long enough with their four-song EP 'Public Access.' If you haven't yet discovered the keyboard craziness of "Black Jettas," or the New York new-wave-ishness of "12=3 (Here Comes the Doctors)," luckily, you have not missed your chance. The five-piece band, comprised of mostly session musicians who have showed off their musical chops with such artists as REM and Beck, finally release their self-titled debut to major buzz. Though Ima Robot is made up of the longtime bassist and drummer of Beck's band, they draw their influences from the Talking Heads and Joy Division, inflecting it with an 80s pop streak. The result is a twitchy debut, pumped with adrenaline and taut with ready-to-burst tension. Their video for "Dynomite" can be seen at www.imarobot.com and will be featured on MTV's Subterranean."
