Well it's a little late for advance notice seeing as
how the Killing Joke tour ended in San Diego this past Saturday. I happened to catch the show in L.A. on Friday and was rightfully blown like a
cheerfully notstalgic lad who never saw the band in their 'heyday', but waited about 10 years to see a 'punk' band that influenced
most of chicago rock in the 80s- 90's, melvins, nirvana, NIN...the list could go on.
Curiousity being, is there anyone who knows of any bootlegs to be enjoyed, recorded on this tour? I'm a little lazy to do much web panting and
the sites that cater to these Jokers are a little cryptic.
If you haven't heard the new record. It rules
like a mofo. I mean, do you doubt Dave Grohl when he signs up to play drums on the album?
Past Drummers Include Invisible records honcho and PIL alum, Martin Adkins, and Ted Parsons (Prong, Godflesh, etc.) who also was their touring
drummer.
Their first two records are a must own for hard rock-industrial fans.
And this my friends is no joke.
