"Esqueçam os hypes que andam por aí. Esses foram os únicos dois discos de estréia que realmente me deixaram com uma pulga atrás da orelha. Nenhum dos dois discos é melhor que a melhor estréia dos últimos anos: Is This It, do Strokes. Acontece que quando eu escutei o disco do Strokes eu sabia que não tinha mais para onde eles irem e que, sem a ajuda do efeito surpresa, eles jamais fariam algo tão bom quanto o Is This It. Já essas duas bandas lançaram discos muito bons, nada espetaculares, mas que me deixaram com uma impressão de que o papoco de verdade vem depois. A última vez que senti isso foi quando escutei o The Bends, do Radiohead. E logo depois veio o melhor disco dos anos 90, Ok Computer. O Ima Robot é uma banda que parece saída de algum lugar do final dos anos 70, beirando os 80, só que sem saudosismo. É contagiante, elétrico e muito bem feito (notem os arranjos e as diversas sonoridades de baixo e bateria usadas no disco). Discaço. Já o The Music parece rock eletrônico-orgânico. Com vocais que lembram o Perry Farrell do Jane´s Addiction. Empolgante demais e os caras parecem tocar como se fosse a última coisa que eles podem fazer na Terra. Perfeito pra chacoalhar o esqueleto."
