<p>So yeah... MTV campus invasion was quite nice in that it was free, but quite shitty in that the audience absolutley hated IMA Robot. They were booed, called gay and worst of all got absolutely no response from the audience while they played, excluding myself and a few kids around me moshing and screaming for them.</p>
<p>They managed to make a good show out of it by becoming just as hostile with some of the guys in the audience. One of the kids in the pit was yelling "faggot" at them the whole show to which he eventually replied by asking the kid if he was dating his male friend, and then doing a song for the ladies. A few of us were really digging their music, and even more so their disregard for the unresponsive conservative audience.</p>

The ignorance of some people never ceases to amaze me.

You know, it would seem like if that were a function of the audience there to see the other bands, someone from H****stank or LPs might address the issue when they came out, to take a stand at least in front of their fans.

The guys are definitely chick magnets...have wives and girlfriends....so I'm sure those slurs didn't bother them. If I was there I would have beat them down...just kidding...but I would have made sure that those guys would have been embarassed after seeing a flock of hot girls hanging on the Bot after the show...:saint:

I'm just glad the boys take it all in stride..They know that they will convert a few people out of the crowd and that's all they care about.. It's a weird line-up and I think the guys recognize that..

Drac, I would like to think they would say something, too..But then their fans might think they're not "cool"..

hey i was at the show , i never heard of ima robot before but they fuckin were cool as hell, its a shame all the stupid college kids were bein such shitheads there, oh well so ya you guys rock
