I completely agree. The old stuff was so good, and the new stuff is so mediocre, it just doesn't compare. THey are coming out with a new album though, and I am absolutely going to get it.

Nope I like them too, and I think I'm pretty far from being emo. I used to work security at concerts in college and I went to a weezer show to work. That's how I started to like the band and loathe their hardcore fans. It doesn't scream " No one understands me I'm so smart and alone in this world" just because you have thick black rimmed glasses. And surprisingly the crowd was more rowdy than an ozzy show I worked the night before. we had a couple people smashed up against the gate and had to be taken away because they got hurt. A well placed shoe to the head or crushed against the front barricade.

But yes I like their olders stuff better new stuff is alright, but way to short. I prefer my songs to be longer than it takes me to take a pee.

Why did we start talking about Weezer? Umm..Anywho, I dig them..It's so scary to see how huge they got when they were taking a break..I remember seeing them in semi-small places..The Palace, The Galaxy..Shit..Where else? I don't know..Anyways, then I remember seeing them after their little break at the Long Beach Convention Center!! It's craziness I tell you! Their DVD is pretty sweet..I agree..I like their old stuff better, but I don't mind the new stuff..it just doesn't hit me where the other albums did..

I've only seen Weezer once at the verizon wireless amphitheatre which is huge...
