Grrr....Lay Me Back is possibly my favorite song by the group. Uh...do they have homing devices on cds? Because some unappreciative fool possesses that song right now, and it KILLS me to not have it. The bitterness...it stings.

Barz sent me 3 cds. I'll have to take a look at the one that wouldn't play on my cd player that is still in my possession. I just moved and don't have it yet, but once I find it, I'd be happy to perform a trade, or something.

Phobiac is in France right now, but man, he is going to name you the Golden Child when he reads your post! Where have you seen them play?

The sad thing is, I've never seem them play. It's horrible, but too true. Barz had set everything up for me to get on the guest list...watch a rehearsal, and everything. I was in LA visiting family. That's was during the Sept. 11th incident, and so naturally that changed things. I still hope to get back to LA soon to catch a show.

Any chance you can make it out to L.A. for the band's October 11 Spaceland appearance? The songs you have used to be available on Audiogalaxy, I remember, but some of them have been MIA for ages. Keep those songs under lock and key, I would love to hear them though, maybe we can organize a listening party or something.

Twist & Shout is the only one I would dispute as being new - I remember hearing that one at the Troubador last winter, and at least one of the Viper Room shows.

#16 - is that one "Everybody" instead of "Everyone?"

After finally listening to some of the oldest songs, and I mean hard core, repeat the same 5 tunes over and over again listening, it's really amazing how Ima Robot has evolved while still keeping true to the spirit of Lay Me Back, 666, and Daytime Job. You hear a new one like A is For Action, say, and find so many of the same musical themes running through - loads of power with a dark tinge to it, but still maintaining a fun silliness in parts. Case in point: I wonder if any other band has used the phrase "Where's the beef?" in a song like Ima Robot does in Daytime Job...

Still looking for Oxygen, if anyone has it please reveal yourself!

I'm looking to find the ones I don't have too... I only have heard about half of that list...

The good news is they are constantly writing new songs, and according to JMJ they aim to have new material for each of their upcoming shows. The bad news is, we will never keep up if they remain this prolific.

I know you probably have a multitude of songs. I think you should post them. I've been trying to get a hold of some. Even of the bootleg that I went to in LA on their tour at the Trub.

Kazaa finds songs but never dl's em because it needs new sources.
