I see no one posts on this topic anymore.. but maybe I'll start a new trend?

I saw Ima Robot for the first time yesterday at Warped Tour in Dallas, and I gotta say they were undoubtedly the best band there. I'm not exagerating when I say they have the best stage presence of any band I have ever seen in my life. They were so badass!! I can't wait to be able to see them again. I bought their Alive EP and I've been listening to it nonstop since I got home last night and it's amazing. They're my new obsession.

:wow:...I can't wait to hear some of the reviews. I knew they would blow away everyone else on the bill...yay, their touring again..well, atleast for a few shows...Come on guys.....please join the Curiosa Tour.......please!!!!!

So how long has it been since they've toured? Must have been quite a while.. that's too bad. I really hope they come back to the Dallas area relatively soon, but I talked to the merch girl and she said after this tour they'll be going back to LA to record and such.

The people at Warped Tour were alright, I guess. The crowd was really fuckin rude to the Sounds and that pissed me off a little. In the middle of their set, half the crowd rushed over to the stage sitting next to the one the Sounds were playing on because New Found Glory was about to play. My friend went over there and he said people kept badmouthing the Sounds. Pretty lame if you ask me. I don't think that many people were impressed by IMA Robot. Nearing the end of the tour there were only about 10 people that had signed up for the mailing list. One guy said it was the weirdest show he'd ever seen and thought it was really interesting, which I think is a good thing. I was definitely blown away by them. They're so incredible!! The people running Warped Tour this year aren't as cool as they were last year. It's a lot stricter and more regulated. I still enjoyed it very much. I didn't get to meet any of the members of IMA Robot, but I talked to the Sounds a lot. They're kick ass! The IMA set was about 30 minutes long. A little short, but that's about how long everyone played and they did REALLY well. Alex is fucking insane!! I love it.

Well bot was in the US on tour, then did a bit of the UK and now are back on US for warped. They have been on tour for a LONG while now, we just can't get enough of them :D

yeah kinda knew they wouldn't be "loved" at warped, but sounds like they have done ok. And yeah 30 min. isn't very long, but I knew it would be that short. despite it all, I'M STILL GOING FOR IMA!!!!!

Yeah, with the amount of bands on Warped Tour it's pretty hard to give them a longer time than the 30 minutes. Oh well, it was enough time for me to fall completely in love with them! I can't wait to see them again, and I'm makin some friends go too. I'm spreading the word.

Addictive aren’t they?

:D yes they are very addictive! That's so sad that some kids couoldn't get into The Sounds and The Bot! But, most of the kids there are there to see Good Charlotte and all the other bands that sound exactly like them. I can't differentiate between them, they all sound the same and claim to be punk....what tha hell? Most of them are just boy groups with instruments....wha, wha, wha...all they do is whine in their songs....real punks didn't whine. Now look at Agnostic Front and Minor Threat, that's real punk! :D

I'm looking forward to the POSITIVE reviews, such as Warhol's..I love hearing a new fan's opinions..

But let's face it..I'm sure there are going to be some lame skater kids dissing them on here soon..Ah well..

Thank you so much, MR!! I keep trying to tell my friends that most of the bands on Warped sound exactly the same, and they just don't understand! They all sing about the same crap, they're not very good, and they sure as hell aren't punk! I can't stand it when people call these bands punk. It's so annoying. Why is everyone so into this crappy music?

Has anyone found a site that lists specific stages and time slots for the Warped tour dates? The "official" page isn't very informative.

No..But I want to find out since I'll be going on Saturday! I need to know which stage to rush to and camp out at all damn day! I really hope it's not the main stage..I don't want to deal with all those lame kids waiting for New Found Gloryhole..

yo have you all checked this out?! Was on http://www2.fanscape.com/mobilewarped/ and you can download ringtones with the actual song…I just did that story of the year song…. can't wait to see them live….once you register click on the Cingular button on the top right and it will take you there…..
