This is the most incredible news I've heard today, and today was a weird day.
Kudos Guys!! I must plan a listening cruise. :o, then top it off at the amoeba gig...then maybe , hopefully have my remix of Loaded Love ready.

Will we be seeing you on Saturday at Zankou for the Ima Robot Con? Prizes and chicken await. The illustrious Seacaptain is even going to be there.

Wow - this Ima Robot train has become a high-speed rail! It seems like just moments ago, we were wondering how to get KCRW to give them a listen, and
now a super-premium spot on the station with a live shot and interview. Well, what can you say 'cept :wow:
Congratulations to the band for making such a big splash in such a big way.
For anyone who doesn't know, Nic Harcourt usually begins the interview/performance at @ 11:15 AM.
And re: the 8/2 soiree, I am hoping like heck to be there. Would love to say hi to everybody.

The official announcement is now up on kcrw.org :
KCRW
As an added bonus, they linked to both .net and .com...yet another reason to give them a call when they start their pledge drive next week!

So far this day is starting off tight. I bet the boys are on their way to the studio right now, or even setting up already. Nic just jammed some
Interpol, and Supergrass.

It was very cool! They played STD Dance, which rocks since it's a B-side and most people won't get the chance to hear it...
Unfortunately, we lost our connection here partway through so the stream will be disjointed. KCRW reruns it today at 4:30pm, PST, however.
Nic said the album was "awesome," so very cool that he has a copy and likes it.
The recording was terrific, all the separate parts came out crystal-clear.

Yes it was cool to hear "STD Dance," I liked it. My favorites were "Let's Talk Turkey" and "Here Come the Bombs."
It did sound great, hopefully someone got a good recording off the radio?

I thought Black Jettas was fantastic, with Alex going off into a weird little scream. I also really liked Let's Talk Turkey.
I thought Nic seemed *very* enthusiastic, even encouraging people to go out and buy the album when it comes out, which he doesn't normally do.
It was great to hear from the horses' mouths the evolution of the band, especially the "way to a man's heart is through his
stomach" aspect of Justin joining the band.
I was driving while listening to it live, and even on my crummy car stereo, the music sounded crisp and fresh - no mud detected. And the vocals were
sittin' pretty atop the music, so somebody mixed it nicely.
I hope the band's happy with the performance and interview, and there now should be an auspicious L-A awakening.

Yeah, Let's Talk Turkey is off the hook. That was my first time hearing Black Jettas. I kept hearing about it. It was awesome. The interview
couldn't have gone better. I loved the way Alex chose the words electronic & organic when describing drum scenarios. And I do believe
Justin just solved our dilemma on where to have the next BOT-CON since that's where Tim persuaded him to join. I don't remember the name,
but maybe one of you do. I was getting hungry when they started naming off dishes on the menu.
Well, guys since this has to be one of the coolest days ever, and it's not over yet, I guess this would be as good a time as any to unveil my
new mix/tribute to the BOT.
Ladies, and Gentlemen I humbly present to thee....

Hey! This is pretty cool! I agree with you, Loaded Love has more goodies in it than did Black Money.
BTW, my favorite part of the interview was when Alex admitted that if he didn't apply his lyrics to his life in some way, he would resort to
making every song about vampires. Guess we know what My Number is about, now!
See you at Amoeba in a little while.

Did everyone else get the e-mail from somewhere with the link to the video of the KCRW broadcast?
Does anyone know how to rip audio from the Real Player?

didn't want to risk loosing all that work.
