So I was doing some back-to-school shopping at Old Navy last week. I was trying clothes on in the fitting room, when all of a sudden, I *faintly* heard the opening of "Let's Talk Turkey." I thought that maybe I was just thinking of the song in my head, or that I was hallucinating, but when I got out of the fitting room, it WAS "Let's Talk Turkey"! I was singing along. It was odd. Has anyone else heard the Bot in Old Navy or other stores?

I got a call from my friend last weekend- Ima was on at the Old Navy - yep yep-

My sister works at Anchor Blue and used to hear Black Jettas all the time, when she heard me playing it at home she was singing "ex girlfriends, black chedda ! " as in cheese :wow:. Until I corrected her. It was funny! There sound track changes every two weeks.

I've been in a few (I think 2 or 3 stroes) that had played Ima Robot...
one was old navy, I forget the other ones because I don't know store names very well

not counting the time I went to a record store to see IMA (alex was sick) and they played the cd in full like 20 times.

P.s. I think Ima should change the song to black cheddas

they play the weirdest stuff at old navy, one time i heard this underground hip hop song called "scuba" by bonobo. i thought that was cool too. the things they play in the stores these days... wow:wow:

I have never heard Ima Robot anywhere unless I put it on. My only run in concerning the bots was when this really hot girl wearing a Ima Robot tshirt came onto the train on my way to work.

i've never heard anyplace or anyone listening to or playing ima robot! nobody really knows them here! the only people that really know them are my friends and a few of my family members! then you go down to abbotsford and theres a few more... then in vancouver theres more, buuuuuut, i wish more people knew them so i could always hear their music!

and yeah, Hot Topic is a bit overrated and over priced.......There t-shirts always fall apart and fade like a mother...and....the decals are usually off-centered...like seconds or something. You know what bugs me? When these lame hipster kids wear old-school Journey shirts..They don't like Journey! They just think they're being cool! I'm using Journey as an example cuz some kid I used to work with came in with a Journey shirt on..I asked if he'd seen them in concert or anything and he said no and that he didn't even like them..There are many other band tees that those damn kids wear just to be cool, but Journey was the first that came to mind..:duh:

oh oh i guess im one of those kids, sometimes bands have cool shirts. I own a Thursday shirt and never even heard the band. But I only sleep in it :D
