Moving units, modest mouse, white stripes, fugazi.
Searchlights on the skyline
Just looking for a friend
Who\'s gonna love my baby
When she\'s gone around the bend
Egyptian bells are ringing
When it\'s her birthday
Sweet nothin\', I\'m talking about you
There\'s a hurricane blowing your way
Ooh such a beautiful way
To break your heart
Ooh such a beautiful way
To break your heart
There\'s someone calling your name
It\'s driving you insane

I didn't read all the bands everyone listed so I'm just gonna list some off the top of my head, sorry if they're already been
mentioned!
ANYTHING by David Bowie (I licked his guitar by the way!!)
Stellastarr*
The Von Bondies - Pawn Shoppe Heart
Hot Hot Heat
Johnny Greenwood
Damnit Audra is making me get off... damn bitch. JAY KAY I'll post more later. Love you like an extended family, buddies.
But I never thought you\'d be a junkie
because heroin is so passe
now a-day.
You never thought you\'d get addicted,
just be cooler in an obvious way.
I could say, shouldn\'t you have got
a couple piercings and decided
may-be that you were gay.

How, and when did you get the chance to lick Bowie's guitar?

I posted it as a seperate topic... it was most deserving of one, most def.
So more music then:
Sublime
Third Eye Blind - self titled is my fave... most of the time
The Beginning Stages of... The Polyphonic Spree
Big Audio Dynamite
I feel the need to mention both David Bowie and Jonny Greenwood again.
Blind Melon - Nico
Morrissey - anything!
Men at Work - Business as Usual
Oasis - (What's the story) morning glory? and Heathen Chemistry
THE SOUNDS! - Living in America
Grandaddy - Sumday
But I never thought you\'d be a junkie
because heroin is so passe
now a-day.

I was listening to Sumday when I read that post. Just thought I'd mention that. I prefer Sophtware Slump though. I'm not a big Sumblime fan
and I think I might be the only person in Santa Cruz who doesn't like them. Oh well.
To buy:
Pinback - Offcell

I must say that is quite rebellious of you to live in Santa Cruz and not like Sublime... more power to ya!! I fuckin love that band - definitely crazy
about them. Also, I actually agree that Sophtware Slump is better than Sumday, but Sumday first came to mind because I listened to it more recently -
pretty cool that you were listening to it when you read that. I love it when crazy shit like that happens to me.

Seriously Juno, how can you live here and not like Sublime? You so crazy...
So how did you come up with $350 credit at Amoeba? That's pretty sweet.

The Dead Milkmen are awesome!! I recently found one of their Cds at THE 99 CENT STORE!! It was really awesome, but sad at the same time. Sad to see a
great band like them selling for just $0.99. I always find good CDs there. And they aren't used either. Man, I love that store!
