I just remembered this thread when I was looking at the bio of the photographer Alex Prager on her website. (Yes, another Alex!) Oddly enough, she claims to have worked in a Swiss Army knife shop in Lucerne in 1994, when she would have been around 14-15 (the same age!). It doesn't sound like she's joking...but who knows, maybe this is a running joke among people named Alex in L.A.
