FREE Tickets To NYC Irving Plaza Show

We're giving away two tickets to the New York Irving Plaza show October 11. Special thanks to Michelle Rene for donating the pair to the cause!

What you have to do to win:

Send us (via the Contact Us link at the top of the page) or post in this thread your original Ima-Robot-inspired recipe. Yes, it is the queerest idea we could come up with, and that is the beauty of it. We're talking chipped beef on toast with a side of halvah here, folks. The more Readers' Digest, the better.

Winner gets the tickets Fedexed to them one day prior to the show. Good luck!

Red Robot

In a mixing glass with cracked ice:

Juice of 1/2 lime
1/2 ounce Triple Sec
1 ounce Tequila
Splash of Bols Orange Curacao
Splash of Grenadine

Float a spoonful of 151 on top, ignite and serve!

Red Robot Love swishing through the veins above. Lighting my fire all the way. Keep on drinking and I'll show you the way!

Once you drink a couple of these babies you may just write this:
Quote:

If I had a robot for every day I have been sick,
I would give them all to Dr. Smith.
What would he do with them all?

Robots could polish his car,
They could play educational games with his children. They could cut his hair in the latest robot 'do.
He could throw out his car, and a dozen robots could bear him over the freeways on a palanquin.

Robots are indifferent to their fate.
You can use them for sleds. You can play tinny melodies on their hands and feet.
They don't mind.
I wish I were a robot.

Really,
Dr Smith's not the kind of guy who would hold onto 365 robots just for himself.
He'd keep a few robots for himself, and give the other robots to the needy.
Hail Dr. Smith! Helping the needy with robots!

Someday my doctor will be a robot. Then I will get better fast.
Fast! But until then, I have Dr. Smith.
I would like to give him a lot of robots.
