Junior Senior/Electric 6

Sweaty good fun tonight at the 7th Street Entry (First Ave's coat check-turned-venue) for Junior Senior's opening act--Electric 6 headlined but really it was like a double top billing with the Danes in the house. They only were able to play for 40 minutes, and Junior was relegated to guitar duty only since his voice went out (and they have 29 more shows on the tour). But a lot of fun nonetheless. Copenhagen is the next Motown.

Electric 6 played some new tunes, the best of which was an ode to white Detroit rappers that sounded different from their usual rock disco thing, hope it makes the next album.

No Lucha Libre guy this time, Phobes.

There was a clear delineation of fans in the audience. Some people were there strictly for Junior Senior, and when they finished the crowd cleared out and made room for the E6 fans. I really wish Junior Senior would have played more than the 8 songs they were allowed, though.

Anyway, you'll have a ton of fun in Seattle, Junior's voice should be back by then.
