So I was just going through a period of being deeply irked having heard Broadcast were in town tomorrow and I cannot go--then was brightened to find that The Shins are coming Nov. 14 and Ticketmaster had half price tickets.

The funny thing is, they knocked six bucks off the price, but the total ended up being over face value anyway due to fees. Ah well. So psyched to hear them play some tracks from their new album.

Please tell me you're talking about California.:o I was just listening to Shins this morning on the way to work, and before I went to bed Tuesday night. I would love to see these dudes live.

Nope, and still haven't due to circumstances beyond my control couldn't make it. Plus both shows were sold out.

Mmmm, never heard of em. I'll have to check them out. Maybe a couple of streams of their stuff would be nice to hear.
