Well, it came down to me and another guy who is on tehir downhill team and was a mech at another shop...I think you can guess who got the job...

Another bike shop about 15 minutes from my house is hiring and a restaurant downtown need line chefs and dishwashers with no experience so I should have a job soon.

I just got hired today...on the spot....I went by this restaurant called Earls(do you have them in the US??) Talked to some girl, then one of the chefs and now I start monday as a dishwasher then I will start being trained as a line prep cook.

I have an earls place on campus @ UCSD.
I work at it sometimes. But i like my resturant better. I never was a dishwasher. First did office work, but wanted something with less thinking when I went to college so went to cooks assistant. I do Line prep, grill, pizza prep, deli.... well all of it.
I like cooking, holds art for me. and I'm such a art dork......

ooh i dont know how that works in america but my friend once did it and it sucked! she had to get up at 5 in the morning on saturdays which meant no going out on fridays, and you still have to work when it rains and such.. well, she did make shitloads of money though
