That sucks! I know when The Strokes played here back in October they played with The Kings of Leon and charged $35 a ticket! Maybe I'll catch them next time they come around.

i wouldnt pay that much to see them. they're not that good. going to mars volta today. cant wait! look like im going on my own though, which sucks, but its volta, so i dont care! 4th time! WOOOHOOO

I have mastered the fine art of arriving minutes before the act I want to see goes onstage (sadly, I perfected this trait after missing half of Ima Robot's set in Minneapolis).

The reason being that I can no longer handle the smoke in some of these rooms. Someone needs to market a fashionable oxygen tank and mask.

Anyways, saw Yeah Yeah Yeahs last night, very impressive set. It was Karen O's birthday and Har Mar Superstar brought out a cake for her and led the crowd in a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday.

the yeah yeah yeahs gig sounds awesome. i cant wait to see them soon. the album is amazing and the master ep aint to bad either! i love them, and missed them at reading (i watched SOAD and Metallica instead). the har mar bit sounds comedy, i would have loved to see that!

yeah. i agree with the smokey thing. it sucks. i should have gone later (as there was no support last night) it was a good gig though. they played 6 tracks in 1h50min, including a omar solo and a bass solo. the set included a 30 minute take of 'cicatriz' and a 20 minute version of 'take the viel'
