November 14th show was....
FUCKIN' GREAT!
Ima Robot was so amazing <junior senior was there, they weren't too shabby either>!! It didn't take too long to get into the
music..okay, not long at all. This band PEACHCAKE opened (local, az, reeeeeally good..kinda sound like the postal service) and it was the first band
that i've ever heard open and do well. BUT..yeah. So Ima Robot comes out and everyone starts yelling and such. Then they start with Song #1 and
it was grand. I was up close to the stage and was dancing the whole time. I don't know how many times Alex sang while looking at me but it was
great. He put his crotch in my face like 20,000,000 times and that was awesome. Afterwards they were all walking around and talking to people when i
spotted Justin (now dubbed 'bassist' and he was the nicest person in the
world..no lie. New drummer=just as nice. They were both so genuine. Alex...boy, oh, boy! i went up to him and told him that i loved ima robot and they
did really well and he goes "Yeah. I saw you in the front..you made the show amazing." Even if it was a bs line..i liked it. I have his
sweat towel with all their autographs on it and it's going on my wall as soon as i'm done with this...this show was well worth the $16.

Sounds like fun (understatement)...the band always plays off on the audience's energy in such a cool way; their shows have only gotten better and
better as more people have become familiar with their music and able to really get into the live act.

Glad to hear your experience was awesome! Mine was too when I saw them in DC last month! Justin constantly smiles and is so nice-did you get close
enough to smell Alex? I know it sounds kind of weird but even after the live show he smelled great! What kind of oil does he wear?

I think Concrete Eyes went to the Phoenix show and Marv went to San Diego.
Marv, if you read this, give us a review of the show in a new thread--was it a similar set to that played at the Roxy gig?

ha. i got close to alex. but i don't think i really made a point to smell him. i was just so happy to be talking to him, ya know? But, his sweat
rag smelt nice, heh. Um, their set list.. i know the played Song #1, Here come the Bombs, 12=3, Black Jettas, A is for Action, Scream, Dirty Life
(alex was so close to humping my head during this song..ahh great.), Philosophofee, and Dynomite..i can't remember any others or if that was it.
Sorry it took me so long to get an answer for ya. I've been busy. I hope the show you went/go to was/is a load of fun!:D
