The Bravery
Got their album this week, and I thought, okay, Ima Robot Lite--catchy, eighth-note synth driven songs, charismatic lead singer. Then I go see them
last night at this oddball show at the student union (only 5 bucks, capacity maybe 150, lots of disinterested students milling around despite the fact
that this band has been selling out large venues in most major cities) and one song they have sounds so similar to Scream.
Anyone know which I'm talking about?
Great show anyway, it was especially nice to be standing right in front of the rockabilly-with-eye-makeup bass player, who had a sweet vintage
Rickenbacker.

Speaking of the student union, my sister is pretty sure she's going to be going to The Carlson School of Management at the University of
Minnesota!! Is that where you are? Or are you at Minnesota State?
And no..I don't know which one you're talking about..I'm sure MichelleRene would though..:duh:

they´ve been in teen magazines here...scary. seen something on´em on TRACKS / ARTE and they kept calling them new wave which annoyed me a little. but
they are playing Munich on the 20th of June and if i can get my filthy hands on the guest list í´m gonna check them out.

so The Bravery played Munich yesterday and i didn´t go there for it would have been too expensive so i ended up on another show (of a band i´d
actually seen before) which turned out the same entrance fee in the end ...aaaaaaah. so i could have gone to see the Bravery nonetheless.
