Wow--MSI fans loved Ima Robot
From MSI board:
"I Am Robot were fucking AMAZING! I am buying their CD first thing tomorrow morning (I was strapped for cash tonight, due to expenses incurred over
the evening prior). They reminded me of Bis, but not Scottish, and more hard rock than punk... If you enjoyed I Am Robot, you'd probably like Bis'
later stuff. That band was very impressive and light years better than Opiate For The Masses, Deadsy, and Dog Fashion Disco. Whomever picked them for
the tour should be commended!"
It'll be a bit of a wait for that CD...

The message was actually sent via email. I hope she didn't want it kept personal. Rest assured the band got your message!

Hey! You quoted me! Thanks :D
I was extremely impressed with the band (glad someone corrected me on the name!) and have plans to be at every show that I can swing, in the future.
And from all the heckling I was doing of Dog Fashion Disco, and from the previous night's show with Deadsy and Opiate For The Masses... I'm hard to
impress. I loved the fact that the lead singer was so personable and talked to the kids in front of the stage (my friends and me). After he helped our
friend find someone, I told him that they could go ahead and suck all they wanted, because that was cool to do that favor. He laughed... and went on
to NOT suck at all! YAY!
CD needs to come out now! Now now now now now I say! NOW! Hehehe

You little heckler! And Deadsy the night before, it's not even the WEEKEND yet. Allow me to be jealous of your life for a moment.

LOL... Deadsy opened for MSI on Tuesday... I only went to see MSI - same with Wednesday, too. Luckily, I came out of last night's show as a new Ima
Robot fan, and not just my hardcore-rabid-MSI-obsessed self
Don't be jealous. I'm suffering for it now... sore all over, squeaking instead of speaking, and I forgot about a conference call for work today... but
t'was worth it :D
And yeah, I'm kinda mean to bands that have no reason to be onstage (and fans that aren't there for the music, only to be there to be cool or because
they think the band is "cuuuuute"). If my three year old niece can make better music by playing with my copy of Rebirth... I'm gonna insult 'em.

Watch out jendemonium, Ima Robot is just like black tar heroin, really really addictive.
Would love to have some stuff up on the site for everyone to listen to. The bands management is working on getting some content for us.
In the mean time check out heavy.com and streetvirus.com to get you fix. They have a couple songs streaming on their players. Heavy.com has A Full
Clip Over The Edge, Love Is A BoomBox, and Holiday. Streetvirus.com has Dynamite, The Faker, Alive and Black Money.
Welcome!

You have cat ears! crazy!
You were right up front, must have been fun. You were right in front of Alex and his slip and careen into Joey's drum set only to have the mic fall
apart. Crazy!
I thought that was crazy, but you have cat ears!
I love them, your head was bobing all over the place!

a few times he almost steped on my hands, and it was a bit scary when he fell cause it was right in front of me. I love when people are really
energetic on stage, that would also be why I love msi so much.

I wish that I could have stayed and saw MSI. I downloaded some of their MP3s from the site, I like. I had a 5:30am conference call at work so it was
tough going to catch Ima Robot, but almost any cost should be taken to see Ima Robot. Tons of energy on stage, Alex really has a ton of personality
and charisma up there, doesn't he!
I think the Troubadour was all-ages last night?

I know how you fell, I will do anythign for mindless. I missed a day of school which cost me a few hundred dollars a day. I also Went to see them
tuesday after beng in school for 10 and a half hours, after waking up at 5:40 am. If I really like a band, I can be a dedicated fan.

Oh goodness! You can't see me, but I'm about two people to the right of deadkitty, in front of the two tall guys. YAY! And yes, Alex does have loads
of charisma and stage presence. I was so worried when he fell, but laughed when he got back up. Awesome show

What is the bassist's name? He smiled at me a few times and I got all giddy... I have no idea why! I'm so not a groupie, but he's amazing on the bass
and I need to put a name to the talent

JMJ
That would be Justin Meldal-Johnsen (JMJ) he used to be a member of Beck's band. He's a really nice guy. Have you read his posts on here? He's got a
website too: www.justinmeldaljohnsen.com

LOL... I'm very much attached, and I don't date/have any sort of interest in musicians in that manner. But I do get giddy on occasion when someone who
rocks that hard shows me some stagelove by smiling or lookin' at me. I like it when bands interact with their audience... makes me feel all special
and stuff

Ha, the frontmen are getting all the attention. We'll have to get some glamour shots of Ollie for the board, he's always hanging out there in his
little dark corner, quiet-like.

my fiancé and i totally fucking loved ima robot. we went to both mindless self indulgence shows and we were so bored with all the other bands. it was
great to see someone with actual talent. i was surprised that they played with msi though, they were so unlike all the other bands that have played at
msi shows, but that's probably why we loved them so much, because they were different and could actually play more than one song. and does anyone know
if they played with msi the last time they played at the whisky, i believe it was in may of this year? their name sounded familiar and my fiancé said
that she thought it was because they played with them before. we unfortunatly had to leave early and didn't see the other bands. but now i'm never
going to miss another ima robot show again!
