Alive Single With STD Dance B-Side

How did I get this information, you ask? Today, 1/5, my local college radio station featured Ima Robot as their Kebut (pun on "debut" -- the station is Radio K am 770 in Minneapolis). The deejay explained that the track STD Dance was the B-side on the new single "Alive."

Don't know where to find this particular piece of heaven, but once I know I will relay the information to you rabid fiends.

We have been hearing rumblings of Alive being the next single. Perhaps a video as well. I wouldn't be surprised to see it as the b-side, no?

It makes sense to be at least a b-side, because it's the highlight of the live show...

The only problem is, the recording doesn't capture the live feel so well. It's much more reserved--which is not to say I don't like it, just that it's different than the version we've heard loud and proud at shows. I would be lying, though, if I didn't say I wish it were played more uptempo on the recording.

In other news, did anyone see the two-star review in the latest Rolling Stone? I have no idea why they put that review in there after the three-star web review from a writer who actually understood what the band was trying to do on the album. Whatever. I almost wish this guy had unloaded a one-star review so that it would be clear he was in the totally offended camp. His beef was basically that Alex's voice is too polarizing to make the album enjoyable? Aaaghhhh!

edit: Hey Lomax, this has been confirmed a few times. Let us turn our thoughts to grim acquisition!

2-star review. that fucking sucks. a one-star review can be laughed off as some kind of joke or piss take by the reviewer, but 2-star, what a twat. so how many singles have officailly been released in the US (including 'Alive';)?
