This might not be everyones cup of tea here, but I checked these two out at the Troubadour last night and if you get a chance to see them live it's a pretty amazing show. Apparently, they use to play thrash metal in Mexico city, but switched over to just acoustic with, as you will see, a unique style.

The show was really awesome as the wove in riffs from Metallica, Slayer, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd...and I'm sure some others.
