Eh...

It's up in the air..I'm going to Colorado to see them on the 19th.
If Justy and I do go, it will be a spur of the moment thing and hope that we can get in, because we haven't bought tickets yet, and we'd also have to drive back that night.

So....Maybe, I would love to, but maybe not.

SHOW WAS AMAZING!

The sound was one of the best, as far as the venue goes. But you know the venue is to big when they don't allow cameras...so no pictures.
Tyler the new piano player is super nice and really out going.

I made them all bracelets again.

Nora wasn't there.
We talked with everybody before the concert. Alex was spray painting white zeros on to red shirts and it was kind of a disaster because the paint wasn't taking to the shirt very well, but they turned out awesome in the end, and the band was trying to sell them for $45 ha ha.

Talked with Nico for a while, This was the 4th show in a row everybody seemed tired, and Alex was kind of sick.

I asked how Australia was, and his answer along with Tylers answer was: It was weird going to a country where you are automatically popular, playing huge venues night after night, Then Nico mimicked an Australian accent: "Play HOME Play HOME, HOME, Play HOME" He stated how there are only 3 types of music genres over there and if your fall into any of them, you are popular in all of them. So he stated how they look at the band as more of a pop group.

3 new songs in the works, but not played lived yet because it's not quite there.

Jade's sister came, and Remember that video of Jade with the little girl and we didn't know if it was her's or not...well it's not, it was her niece. Her sister and kid were on stage for most of the time, the little girl sang along with Janglin and Home and a little bit of the others.

Order of Songs (As close as I remember)
Up From Below
Janglin
40 Day
River of Love
Random Jam that Sounded like a new song but only a min long
This is where alex said let the audience pick the set list
Come In Please
Carries On
Desert Song
Black Water
Om Nashi Me
Home

Band Left Stage

Brother,
Alex climbed into the audience as far as he could and every body sat around him. This is when I was able to sneak to the front with Justy and get to see the rest of the band. (Jade wasn't on stage for Brother, but I expected she visiting with her sister off stage.)

I think that's the order, it was a different jumble of the songs then they normally do. No Kisses and No Hay Hai

Justy and I made our way to the merch table where Orphaeo's sister works, Justy picked up a shirt, I got a poster and sticker, said bye to Christian, went outside, said by to Tyler and Josh, I jumped in on some one's picture posed and smiled like I knew what was going on, Said by to Alex and Jade, jade introduced me to her niece who was drawing.

Then Justy and I left for a 5 hour drive back Home.

That annoyed me a little when i went to the sydney gig because most of the ppl there only knew HOME

And I certainly don't look at the band as more of a pop group.

And yeah thx for sharing

haha, yeah that's really annoying when the majority of people only know the most popular song..but i guess that's how it is.

i'm going to get really upset one day if some random kid asks me if i know who edward sharpe is. hahaha frick.

UGH! I just remembered something.

So when I tried getting my camera in the guy was like you need a photo pass to get one of those in.

Then Later on in the concert I saw a guy wearing a hat with a crappy piece of paper sticking out of the top that said PHOTO that was clearly hand written on scrap paper and stuck into his hat. It was him and then a girl who had the same thing...crappy photo passes are not what bothered me what bothered me was the fact that they were using point and shoot digital cameras. The crappy cameras that you cant change professional settings on. So how did they get in front of a barrier with a crappy hand made photo pass only to take low quality pictures.

On a completely different note, when we were hanging out with them before the show Jade called a cab and took it to a thrift store to go shopping. When we were waiting for Eddie to get on stage it was a good 45mins-1hr after the opening band played before eddie was on...I had a gut feeling it was because Jade was late showing up back from the thrift store...during the concert alex revealed that they were late because of jade but she was wearing the dress she bought and it made her look pretty so the crowd loved her anyways.

That sounds like a lot of fun.

I hate how everyone only knows Home. It's a good song, but Jesus, they have other greater songs too!

And that sucks about the people with the crappy cameras getting in front of the barrier. Venue security is always really really horrible.

I got a sticker too. It's the pyramid design.
I'm waiting to put it on my future car. Haha.

i want the whole damn world to come and dance with me. <3

It's the ES Pyramid with the circle above it. They have the Tshirt and Bag in there merch section of their website with the same simple design.

Umm..That's fucking rude..It sucks to be standing in a huge crowd anyways and then to find out it's because someone in the band is shopping?? Couldn't you have done that a little earlier and not while a bunch of fans who adore you are waiting in a sweaty mass? I give that action a giant POOP SANDWICH!
