i got to seee him at SXSW last night!!!! it was so crazy. stewart, airin, orpheo, and christian all played with him, along with a very adorable,
oversized, bearded awesome guy. it was definitely a very relaxed show. everything was very hodge-podge, but it was beautiful they looked like a modern day o brother, where art thou cast. i liked it. i creeped
to the "backstage" and made out with...i mean....told alex that i think he's the bizomb phenomenon (in more or less even less eloquently spoken bibble
babble) and felt like an ass hole fangirl...which, let's be honest....
it was definitely not "put together" but i swear i didn't care. it didn't take away from it at all for me, and everyone else seemed to love it, too.
what a wonderful night. you know, i was thinking about it. some people might NEVER get to see their all-time favorite band live, and even less people
get to have a chat with the man in charge of their favorite band. like, how lucky is that? i feel very happy. (except the show made me stay up till 3
and, i overslept for work. should i tell them, oh sorry, i was hanging out with alex ebert. is that kinda like a doctor's note for missing school? me
thinks yes.)
hopefully going to catch another show at 5 today!
it's a brand new day.

What a great-sounding night!
I've gotta run, though. I've gotta go do amazing things that half of you will never get to experience

i mean, it just was a little rough--i guess. thought it was beautiful, obviously. you could just tell they were going by the seat of their britches a
little bit. also, the sound guy was perhaps a high functioning...erm...special needs fellow. which is obviously ok (not judging here one bit) except
maybe not for a sound guy...
it's a brand new day.
