Okay, if you met someone who had never heard of Ima robot, or Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes which songs would you choose to introduce them to the bands.... Only choose 1 song from each artist.

I think i'd stick with chart toppers cus theyd definitely get hooked.

There is definitely a good argument for the Dynomite and Home.

But im not like that so I would choose Ruthless and 40 Day Dream. Also noting to this friend that Ima Robot hits all kinds of genres.

Friend of My Life would be another really good choice.

This is an impossible question to answer, yet the most important because with music, first impressions are it ... UNLESS, you beg this friend to listen to an album twice over (or a demo mix in the case of IMA), once when there mad, once when they are happy. Then they can surely make a true decision.

imarobot is hard...honestly the Search and Destroy Album is my favorite Ima stuff, but that's not technically "ima" stuff. but, you know, i'm not as crazy about the other stuff as much (don't keel me peas), but i like it because of association with Search and Destroy.

I totally agree. Its really hard to choose for me because I love all the unreleased stuff and i think it sounds a little different than the released stuff especially the Ima songs. I get asked a lot what kind of music it is and I can really never explain it so I try to pick a song that they might like, which are usually some of my favorites, But usually when they listen to a few songs they love it.

Oh... SING BOY, that song used to be one that I didn't prefer to listen to for a very long time. But now It's my second favorite next to Paint the Town Red, Sing Boy is so happy!

Sing Boy was the first Ima song i fell in love with i love it...makes me so happy. he does his builds like Bowie and i think it's awesome. they're so intense....gtg listen to sing boy now.
