First off, I didn't take my camera b/c I wasn't sure how security would be. Well, now I know I could pretty much carry in a recording studio to this place and they wouldn't care. Anyway, 'Bot played for I'd say 40 minutes. Played most of the album, only non-album song was STD Dance. Crowd was very luke warm to start the set but by the end they were really into it. The band played better than when I saw them in November, but the sound was worse, I think it was the soundman's issue b/c Kill Hannah sounded like shit til about half way thru their set. Anyway, 'Bot ripped it up pretty good althought the crowd was totally lame, and I could tell Alex was a bit miffed. Talked to Timmy and Oli G after their set. Timmy said they've been working on new material using their laptops, just laying down electronic stuff. I asked about New Negatives and Tim seemed surprised I knew about it and was glad I liked it. The guys were as always pretty cool to talk to. After that, Kill Hannah came on. They're just alright. Lots of preteens and younger kids there to see them. Enough about them. The Sounds were really really fucking good. I didn't know more than 2 of their songs but almost every song was really good and their sound was noticably cleaner than the 2 previous bands. Don't miss the Sounds if you get a chance to see them.

One final note, 3 friends who attended are all now thorougly convinced that Ima Robot rules. They were all really impressed. Another note, only around 300 people total for the show so it was a nice relaxed atmosphere.

where were you during the show? because i was front slightly left, kind of right in front of justin. and i was way bummed that not that many people were dancing!! i was having seizures, or so it looked, with my two friends next to me. holy cow. next time we need to find each other and get a dance party going!! did you get to hang with them before the show at the bowling alley? i was there too, but i hardly knew anyone. haha. and, i was also at the jr. sr. show in november. hmm..maybe we secretly know each other? if, during the sounds you saw maja [singer] hug some girl and tell her that she knew she skipped school, that was me. haha. just trying to make new friends who like good music! xoxoxo.

ahhh that show was amazing. this girl, cautionheart, and i danced to the full effect and now we three are going to see them everytime together because we had so much fun! Alex did look a bit off. Especially afterward when he just sat there staring off. They are such nice guys and even more, they're all so talented! But now I'm more in love than ever with not only their music but mister ebert himself. Those kids needed to get up and dance because I don't think you could experience ima robot without dancing to their live show.

I was standing in the back of the floor to the right, not the left, with a larger group of guys. We were probably some of the oldest people in the crowd. I had on a red Arsenal FC sweatshirt and shorts with close cut hair and glasses. I was with the guy in the Operation Ivy vest with the Afro if you saw him. He was up front during the Sounds. The 3 guys I knew at the show were all extremely impressed by Ima Robot. Any shows you going to coming up? I'm going to Lucky Boys Confusion and the Distillers that I know, maybe other stuff if people wanna go.

hmmm well i think i saw your friend with the fro, but i dont recall seeing you, esqfool. is lbc playing with ludo? if so then, yeah i should be there. but to see ludo, not lbc. haha. its a shame i didnt see you! we couldve hung out and danced like whoa!!! it would've been a blast!! let me know when you go to shows because i love meeting people. i should be headed to the strokes w/ the ravonettes coming up. and i'm going to saves the day also. want to see liz phair for the second time but i'm a poor poor little girl!
