Yeah..I've only been able to do a once through, but I really dig it..I just love him so much..He's so incredible..I think he could fart in the mic and I'd cream my pants over it..:bouncing:

So Kyle! What did you think of the show? My first thought is that Beck is looking old..And he seemed kind of tired..BUT, he put on a great show..I didn't feel like the Modern Guilt stuff really translated well in that large of a venue..Except for Chemtrails..that was awesome! I had a good time but it definitely wasn't the best Beck show I've ever been to..

I had a good 'ole time at the Bowl; always enjoy myself when I am there. Since I live in BH now, it's just a quick drive up there.

I thought it was funny how his mic wouldn't stay put on his funny mic-hat-contraption...what's was up with that.

I thought the backdrop was pretty cool; very simple, but evolved along the way.

Gotta love it when the LA Phil has got your back.

Yes, it he did look older and I dug the older stuff more and couldn't help to think of the secret and intimate shows that I have been to and how crazy they are. Although the show was great, you just can't get that crazy NRG in a big place like the bowl.

Oh man..I LOVED some of the stuff they did with the Bowl..The end of Chemtrails was so beautiful with all of the colors and the screen! And I agree..The orchestra was such a treat..There's really no other way to hear Round The Bend and Lonesome Tears..He looked like that headset thing was too much to handle on his little head and body..It was funny, but it seemed kind of awkward in such a huge place..I couldn't help but be a bit jealous as we were leaving and passing the box seats..I wasn't up that high but I was surrounded by crazy drunks and, surprisingly enough, too much pot smoke for me to handle! Blech..My lungs hurt so bad the next day and I didn't even smoke! I'm getting old..

gah! I wish i lived there : /

New Beck Stuff

For Beck's arrival to Japan, there will be a deluxe edition!
For the Japan tour starting from 18th March, the deluxe edition for the newest album "Modern Guilt" will be released on 11th March, decides Beck. On this edition, there will be 6 music videos and interviews on a DVD, and it will be a very limited special package, designed by Beck's favourite National (=Japanese) brand ZUCCa.
Also the week after that, on 18th March, the album that still is popular with the twisted folk sound, which was released from K Records 1994 "One foot In The Grave", with 16 Bonus tracks included, making it 32 tracks, will be completely remastered and re-released. Out of the 16 tracks, 13 of them are yet unheard, so this will definetly be an album for the fans.

UK itunes has release "modern guilt (extended version)" w. a new track called "Necessary Evil" aswell as a music video for replica.
