The dog is ok.


mike (12equals3) was in chicago for the modest mouse show, Him and his girlfriend (The girl who lives with me) were stranded in south haven all night due to flooded highways. He hasn't been home yet to see the damage.

o geez i hope everything will work out for them : /

Ugh..So horrible..My friend's dad's house burned down, too..They lost their business and everything..Luckily they had a GREAT community who really rallied around them to help out..I hope Mike's family has some of the same love around them..

I talked with his Parents today. They both were thankful for my friendship and concern. That made me feel better, but at the same time i still feel horrible about the entire situation.

So far this has been kind of a week from hell for me...

Starting Friday
Me finding a sick horse, not sleeping Friday night because I was up all night with the horse. Had the vet out twice, still not feeling better we ended up having to trailer her to Michigan State University for emergency surgery. She survived through the surgery.

I had a wedding to go to saturday morning, went to that, went back to the animal clinic at at MSU, and stayed there until the reception. I stayed at the reception as long as I could with out falling asleep. Then I drove back home. Sunday I had another horse get sick but not that bad.

Tuesday Mike's house burned.
Mike was in Chicago with Emily and didn't get home until 9:30 Wednesday AM because it was raining so bad that the highway was flooded. I made them Pancakes and then went to work.

I finished work, came home just long enough to change my clothes and then I had a dentist appointment to go to.

Went to that. Got lost because of road construction.

Went to what's left of mike's house after the dentist. Took pictures.

Went to work again,

Came home, had enough time to eat and change my clothes again.

People are over til ten so I have about another hour.

....

wake up early.
Help mike move what we have into his apartment for college.

Justy and I just got back from Milwaukee and ran into Toxic and some of his friends again.

Jade wasn't there.
She had her wisdom teeth pulled yesterday. I guess they have been hurting nerves in her neck. So bad that she had to leave the gig one night a few shows back said Pico. No body knew what was going on until after words when she was in a lot of pain.
