Pollstar: Ima Robot in Richmond, VA 3/27

Pollstar sayeth that Ima Robot is booked to play Richmond, VA March 27th. I'll post the actual venue here (or someone else can if they get to it first) with ticket buying info when I get the chance.

edit: Okay, this is for the 102.1 Chili Cookoff at the Classic Amphitheater. Other bands include Fuel, H****stank, and Ill Nino.

Sounds like a great time--I live like 3 hours or more from Richmond, but I may go.

I don't like Ill Nino, they stink....hopefully you'll get some news when the Bot will be going on......:D

Man...a couple of months go by and all robot mayhem break loose...what's more crazy than this gig is the cutey Michelle Rene bein' "a full clip over the edge with 600 posts! Fark! Baltimore in the hizouse!
Holy cow...ok, so Drac and Phob may recall I just returned from the land of sex fashion drugs and passion helLA...and the last show I saw was the dramatic ham up Joey W's last show at the Roxy on the strip...
This chili "event" is stereotypically a redneck hesher blowout, formerly held at the Atlanta farm club, R Braves baseball diamond, reserved for groups like Deep Purple, Blue Oyster Cult (don't fear the what?), Protein, Dio,
Twisted Sister (I believe they were there 2 years ago) ...you get the point, but the FM station's format has changed to sticking in other bands songs when they aren't playing Nirvana...competing for the most commercial free (erf, cough, gag) rock in an hour...none the less,
...oh yeah I heard "Scream" in my car at like 3 am over the weekend followed by Hoobastink a few jams later, so I could tell somethings up...
anyhoo,
I knew the campus invasion was a smash when it came through a few years back and
I was curious if they'd come again and rock VCU which is the dynamic urban city campus where it all...you know is supposed to go down...but f' it ...who gives if the other bands are screamin idiots...it's IMA ROBOT...and it's a dirty life on the way to the top.
Man, I've just been ogling the pages of the bass player this month
with J dog on the cover laying it out freak style, but this is good news...
I was thinking I'd have to hop the chinese bus to NY to see them, cuz d.c.'s
a bust, but this is good...
Like the Virginia slogan, Virginia is for lover's...
I say, Richmond...crazier than ever.

Hey, I U2U'ed you back about tonight's show...are you going? I don't think it's sold out, so you should try and go. I know there's already quite a few people on the boards from Maryland going...can't wait! I'm bringing my camera----everyone else, bring your camera!! I checked out the photos on the .Com site from the past few shows and they're great!

Yipppeeeee!:D
