At long last, the ill-timed server breakdown hath been corrected and this site is back up.

What happened during the interim:

Ima Robot performs their last show before entering the studio to record their debut album; to the surprise of many, the classic "Everybody Fucks" is played at the Derby show, leading to the belief that it may be on the short list for the record. :D

Band introduces a new song, "Dirty Ways," which is more in the vein of "Black Money" (whatever happened to you anyway?) than some of the other fresh ones.

Song 1 sounds better than it ever has. I will admit, this one took some time to grow on me but now I get it.

Alex confirms the lyric in "Ancient Sluts" is "These poems of mine," not "These bolts of mine."

Show ends with JMJ and Tim in a heap on Joey's drum kit, as soon as we clean up the video we'll post a screenshot of this one.

Poobs arrives to the Derby...just as Ima Robot finishes, to the dismay of everyone! Her brother (who showed up late to babysit) fears for his life.

Anyway, sorry for the site outage, but big ups to Phobiac for working with the Glowhost team to get it back as soon as possible. Some posts may have been deleted in the process, as well as many of the photos in the gallery, so you may want to re-submit if it's anything crucial.

I believe that Ancient Slut only has one lyric via the title. However, Ages of Ruin is all about the greedy lady and her poems. Well maybe she isn't greedy, but very proud of her poems?

Howdy all...thanks for coming to the gig - we enjoyed ourselves. FYI new song is called Dirty Life, not Dirty Ways...the other new one which we had not played before is called A is for Action. Our rendering wasn\\\'t that dope, but I assure you when you hear it next it will blow minds. And as far as Black Money, we\\\'re not sure if it\\\'s going to make the record. We have so many songs that we need to scruitinize that the older material just ends up on the back burner, at least for now. So for those old school who still pine for Loaded Love, Boombox or Chip of the Block, you may have to wait for a B-Sides/Rarities or an IMA Robot - Early Years type shizzle. Anyway, thanks again for all the support. This website is the nucleus!

I think it's cool that Ima Robot has old school fans yearning for the days of early 2002 and "Loaded Love."

I'll add that Dirty Life was definitely a highlight--it had such an 80s feel to it, it could have been introduced by Martha Quinn herself.

I'm really sorry to have missed the show. Grad school life eating away at my heart, crushing my spirit, sucking up all my time, etc. etc.

Not good when you can't let yourself out of the house on a Friday night in fear of falling even further behind in your work.

By the way, when the site went down, it took away some of my posts!!I was a sun starved passenger again! But no more!! I am now a Hot Shower Finger, once again!!:D
