The Fever!
Just got back from my trip to New York yesterday. Saw this band at the Bowery Ballroom, and really enjoyed them. Similar to Ima Robot in the sense
that you can hear an 80s influence, but they sound a lot grittier. Their website is http://www.thefeveronline.com Check 'em out!
Also saw a band called The Bravery. If you like The Cure, you should like them a lot. http://www.thebravery.com
New York is AMAZING! Although it was a short trip, we had the best time and did so much. The Strokes show was worth it all. Everything else was the
most delicious icing on the world's best cake.

Love The Fever. Saw them a month ago in Mpls. opening for Radio 4. They are a dirty bunch of guys, in the messy, unkempt, sense.

Yep! Well, first time actually in the city. About 10 years ago we went to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
NY went above my expectations
At first I thought it would be pretty dirty/dangerous, the people would be rude, but that there would be a lot to do. I was only right about the last
thing. NY is actually cleaner than SF (I saw less than 10 bums the whole time, and we went all over), I didn't feel like I was in any danger, the
people were friendly, there was so much to do we'd be out from 8 am to 3 am every night! :D
I love the music scene there as well. Maybe I'll go to grad school at NYU or something, because I am doing music journalism. It's the
perfect environment for it.

The Fever kick ass. Has anyone gotten their new cd? Most record stores here tell me that the pink on pink ep isnt even released yet, I suspect that
they are smoking too much crack.

The show I went to was actually a cd release party as well. It was $10, but I settled for the Pink on Pink EP 'cause I was really low on funds at
that point, haha.
