TV Eyes

Any of you LA crew see TV Eyes live?

I'd heard their tracks on tveyes.net, but I just downloaded one of their 2 or 3 shows and it's pretty hot. Shame the album hasn't been able to find a label! These are some great tunes.

TV Eyes = Jason Falkner, Roger Manning Jr, and Brian Reitzell.

tried hard to go see...last attempt last year ended up with me working, but stopping and listening for about 5 minutes outside the troubadour...they sound like...'duranduran' maybe?

Hmm I guess so, they're definitely very 80s / new wave-y.

How can they not have a label yet? The absurdity confounds me.

I'll definitely have to keep my ears open for em. Everyone here is like an extra set of ears strategically placed around the world I love it. :D

No kidding, it's a completely ridiculous thing. Especially after Brian and Roger had some tracks on the well-received Lost In Translation soundtrack.

There are 3 lo-fi mp3 samples on tveyes.net if you want to hear them!

I think I've only heard one song by TV Eyes, a while back.. but I'm pretty sure I really liked them. I'm guessing I did, being a New Wave junkie. I think I'll go check them out right now.

But I never thought you\'d be a junkie
because heroin is so passe
now a-day.
You never thought you\'d get addicted,
just be cooler in an obvious way.
I could say, shouldn\'t you have got
a couple piercings and decided
may-be that you were gay.
