i was forced seeing Robbie Williams way back in `98 ...urgh. but the worst thing i´ve ever seen was Mercury Rev. and Cake. but Mercury Rev was just the worst. horrible horrible. at least i got there for free ...that was one of the few shows where the supporting act (Swedish songwriter Nicolai Dunger) was way way way way better than the main act ...

Aw, I love CAKE :D
The worst gig/concert I went to was for Offsprings' "Americana Tour". :( It was so crappy! I wanted to see Offspring because I liked their old stuff, they did 2 songs I liked. The opening bands were LIT......horrible idiots and The Dickies........They sucked.
It was too hot that day to put up with such crappy music.:lol:

Every single time I've seen S.T.U.N. - they used to consistently open for bands I was psyched to see, including The Vines, Jane's Addiction, and bloody well Ima Robot at Coachella. Their repertoir consists of screaming at the top of one's lungs and dissonant, out-of-tune guitar. A musical paper cut.

hmmmm
Bif Naked and some crappy all girl band. What a waste of time. I got the tickets for free and spent the whole time talking to this girl who also hated the show.
swollen member were also bad(it was them, drop kick murphys and some other band, i wanted to see DKM)

I also saw stun once, they really suck. The lead singer started climbing the amps and hanging from the ceiling, I was hoping that he would fall, but no luck(even after my friend started throwing things at him)

Ok, do the crappy bands I had to sit through at Warped Tour before Ima Robot came on count? Because Senses Fail was like unbelievably horrible. But Evil did bite the lead singer's leg. That made it a bit more entertaining. I still can't believe I went to Warped Tour. It was traumatizing. But worth it for Ima... barely worth it.

Agreed about Warped..Oi..

I don't think I've ever been to a really horrible gig..Sometimes the sound sucks, but it doesn't really matter cuz a band that you love is right in front of you..Opening bands can suck sometimes, but that's all part of the concert-going experience..I remember Liz Phair opened for the Flaming Lips..That was painful, but I had the Lips to look forward to, so I got through it..

I foregot to put warped on the list, I went two years ago to see the suicide machines and rancid, I felt like shooting myself after, another terrible concert other than the half hour the suicide machines played for which was awesome, rancid sucked too
