Saw these again last night and they were fucking excellent.. Gonna see them tonight as well after.. Erm.. *cough* Sum 41 *cough*

Are they one of those "throw back" bands like The Darness, or what?

Nothing like the Darkness what so ever.. These guys are fucking excellent.. I took my daughter and her boyfriend to see Sum 41 tonight.. I thought they were shit (not half as good as Good Charllote) but the teenagers enjoyed them then i took them to see the Towers of London and they both said they were ten times better than Sum 41 and that they were probably the best band they've seen.... :D

Oh yeah and some crap band called the Hives were in the audience being shown how it should be done..

Well, I went to see "Kittie"....
The opening band "Otep" was pretty freakin' creepy.....and in a good way. The chick singer was amazing..and kinda hot....They were so heavy! And yeah, a chick singer can be hardcore and still look cool. The guys backing her up were pretty cool as well. I can honestly say I enjoyed them.
Now Kittie...ahhh...where to begin. We hung upstairs with our friend and bartender Doug....sitting around the railing watching another opener "Crisis" were the girls from Kittie. Hot Topic should really use them for an advertisement...maybe they are sponsered by them or something. They're all short like me, which cracked me up. The one chick looked like a crack-head Slash, the other a crack-head Kurt Cobain and the singer...a little Lisa Loeb....man, somethig about all girl bands just turns me off....lots of very young kids there with their parents, which was cute...lotsa moshing of drunks and one girl called me "ma'am" in the bathroom!:o:P Man, I must be getting old....non-the-less it was funny. They sounded ok for that type of music but Otep blew them away. So yeah, Kittie shitty....:P

So, now I can't wait for Ministry, Genitortures, SKINNY PUPPY, and KMFDM! I'm so excited..

:o oh yeah, and what cracked me up most about Kittie was the fact that they walked around like they were untouchable rockstars...pretty lame.

I agree about the girl rock band thing..I just can't get into it..They always act like they're sooo hardcore..

I don't like chick bands either. Especially the Donnas. Kim Deal is the only girl musician I admire.
