i always thought they´d not be special but they were on TRACKS (Arte) yesterday and i somehow liked them. so after all, are they to be considered on of the many annoying "The" bands or outstanding ? don´t know much of their music so far ...

OUTSTANDING. Definitely NOT just another "the" band. They have something special about them.

I know there's no way to replace Pete, but he's a great stand-in, in my opinion. He plays well, and has good stage presence. I agree that Gary rules! He's so friendly! :D

I dunno, it just wan't pete. i'd love to see pete live, i missed him when he played southampton joiners. unfortunatley, his story is playing out the same as sids.

pete was on rehab in Thailand? crazy stuff ...

pete was in thiland in rehab and he was in the priory for a while aswell

they are on conan tonight

They've had some moderate hype here in LA at mostly the independent venues and music outlets. I think Indie 103.1 plays a cut from them. Looks good - I'd like to hear more.

Whenever i'm over excited to see a band on a late night show , That I REALLY REALLY LIKE i always fall asleep. As if its on purpose or something.

I am listening to their stuff right now for the first time. Really good catchy stuff.

Gary > everything.

Yeah, Gary is so underappreciated back there, yet imo he's one of the best drummers playing right now. He is the glue that holds that band together.

I remember at the show I went to, people cheered the loudest for Gary..He seems to be the most popular member of the band, from what I've seen and heard..

i saw them at reading this year and Gary was the only one that actually wanted to be there.
