Music that is porn-star inspired

Charlotte Caffey of the Go-Go's and Anna Waronker, formerly of That Dog, are writing music for a rock-theater production based on the life of Linda Lovelace, star of "Deep Throat." Lovelace, who had renounced her adult-film past, died in an auto accident last year.

Former "Family Ties" child star Tina Yothers, a singer in L.A.'s club circuit for years, will play the lead in the production, set to premiere in showcase performances starting June 20 at the Theatre of NOTE in Hollywood. Steven McDonald (Waronker's husband) is co-music director with bandmate Todd O'Keefe, with book and lyrics by Jeffrey Bowman.

I remember once a few years ago I got free tickets somehow to one of Jaded's concerts down in Santa Ana. I can't remember why I couldn't make it, probably school or something I was slightly interested in.

Turns out Anna's husband, Steven, the musical director for this show, will be Beck's bass player this summer!

I heard about that, I think Kyle dug it out of the deep recesses of the Anna W. website. Hey Vin while you're here I may as well give a recommendation about the 22-20s; they're one of the bands playing at Field Day Fest Saturday. Straight-ahead blues done well.
