Lately there was this evening on the
history of music videos on tv and they
reported on the early pre-music video,
made for the French "Scopitone" automats
standing in bars, like a juke box with hit
music but instead of playing only the song it also played a video of the band / singer
performing ...most times shot outside,
with dancers and bit of content. And there
was this video for a 60s band named the
Tornados and they had this hilarious video for a song named "Robots". ooh, i couldn´t find still anywhere...damn. Very funny. Them standing in the woods playing with "robot" helmets on --very bulky looking rather like armour or old diver suit helmets and 60s style dancers
beat girls around them dancing.
