Funny little connection I found today while listening to some sound clips of Olivia Newton John on the internet. Spot the bolded line in the lyrics.

"'Greensleeves' is a traditional English folk song and tune, basically a ground of the form called a romanesca." (More info.)

I haven't put more thought into this yet, or tried to make any more connections between the two songs, but I thought it was interesting to find a possible "source" or reference for the phrase. There's also a Leonard Cohen adaptation of the song (not sure if it includes the line or not?), amongst others.
